Calendar of Events: We have lots of events schedule for April. Download our calendar of events.
Fundraising: South School’s student council is sponsoring a Chuck E Cheese’s Fundraiser Event from 3:00-9:00p.m. on Tuesday, April 20th, 2010. Parents/Guardians please come out for a night of fun with the kids!
Assessment Testing: It’s time again for our AIMS web/Map/MIDE testing April 9th -30th, 2010.
Parent Teacher Conferences: Conferences are scheduled on Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 3:30-7:30, and Friday, April 16, 2010 from 8:00-11:00 am. Parents/Guardians please make sure that you receive a conference time from your child’s teacher. It is our endeavor at South Elementary school to keep our parents connected and informed on your students progress. If you need information please call the school Mon-Fri 7:30 am-4:00 pm
Elementary Basketball Classic: Omega PSI PHI Fraternity, INC. is sponsoring “Elementary Basketball Classic” Saturday, April 17th, 2010 10:00a.m. at North Chicago High school on 1717 17th Street. Please come out and support our elementary schools and have fun!!!
Earth Day: Thursday, April 22, 2010 South School celebrates Earth Day.
Picture Day: Thursday, April 22, 2010 is South School’s Picture day. Dress up and smile!
Band Concert: Thursday, April 29, 2010 is South’s Band concert. Please come out and join us for our Spring Concert at South in the Gymnasium. Our concert begins at 10:00 am.
