Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to North Chicago Community High School. In the following curriculum guide you will find pertinent information regarding course selection and high school graduation. We encourage you to carefully review the program descriptions in the catalog, keeping in mind your future goals as it relates to college, career, or military service. In order to benefit your preparation for any of these three life-changing paths, you should select courses that will be most useful in your future endeavors. Design a four-year plan of courses that will meet your needs and challenge you to become a more informed citizen.
It is the goal of Administration and staff to graduate 100% of our students. In order for us to do this, you must help us by doing the following:
- Maintain attendance, to school and to class
- Complete all course requirements on time
- Follow school rules and policies
- Seek additional assistance from staff when you have
difficulty with school or non-school concerns
If you do these things you are sure to be a success at NCCHS. This will also allow you to be a success in anything else that you decide to pursue after graduation. Always remember that what you do and what you say is a reflection of your abilities. Let others see the successes in you that we wish to further cultivate at NCCHS.
