A Freshman Academy Welcome - Read a message from Mr. David Brothman, Assistant Principal NCCHS Freshman Academy.
One Book, One School, One Community: Join us in reading Cormac McCarthy's Pulizter Prize winning novel, The Road.
The Counseling Staff put out Counselor's Corner with information on volunteering, college applications, college recommendations, sophomore recommendations, and information on the first college night of the year.
ACT testing dates and fees are now online. All of the tests offered and recommended at NCCHS are also on a complete NCCHS testing schedule.
Art Department in Need of Paint: The art department is leading an initiative to paint the school.
Parking Permits are required of all student drivers on the school campus.
Coach Gerald "King" Coleman will be inducted into the Lake County Hall of Fame on September 18, 2008.
Sports Schedules Online: You can find NCCHS sports schedules and scores at our athletics website. Have fun, and support the Warhawks!

NO SCHOOL MONDAY: No School on Monday, September 1 to celebrate Labor Day. Students and Teachers return to class on Tuesday, September 2, 2008.

The Dean's Office reminds all students that NCCHS is a closed campus.
Student absences cannot be excused if a student leaves campus without prior parent approval.
All students have recieved their guidance counselor assignments for 2008-09.
The Illinois State Board of Education is providing a customized online ACT Prep course for free to all students.
Be sure to update your medical and health needs with the Nurses Office.
September 12, 2008 is the first home football game. NCCHS plays Grant Community High School at the first football game of the year.

Make sure you have a student parking permit to park on campus.
