2009-2010 DISTRICT CALENDAR - Download a copy of 2009-2010 district calendar. We will be updating HTML calendar on this site in the coming days.

ORPHANS OF THE STORM FUN FAIR - Be at Greenbay School on Saturday, June 6th, from 9 am to 2 pm to join in our fun fair to promote Orphans of the Storm, a local no-kill animal shelter. Bring your favorite dog(s) on a leash with a Rabies vaccination tag. The event will include:

Updates and Announcements 4/13/09

Athletic Training Services RFP: A RFP for NCCHS Athletic Training Services (due 5/3/2009) has been posting online.

Bilingual Student Appreciation Week: The Bilingual Department will be celebrating Bilingual Student Appreciation Week with several events in May. These events include a trip to the Chicago Brookfield Zoo on May 13th for Grades K-5 and a trip to the Milwaukee Arts Museum on May 14th for Grades 6-12. Bilingual T-Shirt Logo Contest: Information is now available for the Bilingual Department's Logo Contest in English and Spanish.

School Supply List: A list of recommended school supplies for the start of the school year is now available here in English and Spanish.

Returning Student Registration: Registration for the 2009-2010 school year for returning students begins this week and continues until May 6, 2009. Click here for more information.

Registration Fees: Information about the 2009-2010 school year registration fees can be found here in both English and Spanish.

Home Language Survey: The Home Language Survey is required for student registration for the 2009-2010 school year. The survey can be found here in both English and Spanish.

Updates and Announcements 4/6/09

Welcome Back! Following a long spring break, we are excited to welcome back all of our wonderful students, caring staff and administrators, and involved parents as we move into our final quarter of school.

Upcoming Schedule Changes: We have two additional shorter weeks coming up. First, we have No School on Friday, April 10 and no school Monday, April 13. Due to parent-teacher conferences, students are released two-hours early on Thursday, April 16, and there is no school on Friday, April 17.

Parent-Teacher Conferences: The teaching team is excited to meet with parents again this spring for our parent teacher conferences. The dates and times for conferences are:

IN CASE OF EMERGENCY: Occasionally, the North Chicago schools are forced to close due to inclement weather. Please consult ABC 7 News, Univision TV, Univision Radio 105.1 FM, or the Emergency Closing Center for closure information.
